I love autumn.  It always seems to be windier in autumn, and I love the wind.  I love to go on a walk and have the warm air play with my hair, and watch the curled leaves tumble across the road.  It's still warm, but it's not so warm that you need to hide out inside.  But mostly I love the fall colors.  In the Columbia Gorge, all of the trees turn colors in late October and I'll drive along the river from Troutdale to the Dalles just to see the river with the extra waves kicked up, and the fall colors on either side.
